Another great night!

Total now over £36,000. Despite one gentleman's view, our caller team isn't crazy -- they're dedicated.

Student callers chatted to alumni from all over the United Kingdom and from countries such as France, Canada, America, Norway, Greece, Zimbabwe, and Belgium.

Great conversations included Manchester United, participating in Aston RAG events, speech therapy, life in Dalton, Stafford and Lawrence Towers many years ago ("are they really looking to pull them down?"), buying houses, teaching as a profession, Aston sport clubs such as sailing, lacrosse, ski, snowboarding, squash, canoeing, rugby, basketball, and martial arts, doing placement years in France, Germany and Florida, a question of"fuddy duddies", "thinks Aston has improved and looks better", amazing career advice, being lucky enough to have received grants and understanding how hard it is for students now, and coming to the AGM in March all the way from Africa.
